📜 Patent Journey
The EaseFlow® Story of Innovation
EaseFlow® — Patent Pending
From real-life experience to thoughtful innovation.
EaseFlow® began with a simple question:
Could bowel support be made gentler, more controlled, and easier to use in everyday life?
That question grew from personal experience, more than 20 years of clinical observation, and a desire to create a more thoughtful approach to personal bowel care.
💡 From a Real Need to a New Idea
Traditional gravity-based enema systems often rely on hanging bags, positioning, and gravity to control water flow.
EaseFlow® was developed around a different concept: a portable water-delivery system with controlled flow, designed to make the experience simpler, more convenient, and more comfortable.
The development process involved repeated testing and refinement of the system’s structure, water delivery, controls, portability, storage, and overall user experience.
EaseFlow® was not created simply to make another enema kit.
It was created to rethink how a familiar personal-care routine could be made gentler, easier, and better suited to real life.
🔬 Patent Pending
The EaseFlow® innovation is now the subject of a U.S. non-provisional patent application.
The patent journey began with the filing of a U.S. provisional patent application, followed by continued development and refinement of the EaseFlow® system.
A formal U.S. non-provisional patent application has now been filed seeking patent protection for innovations incorporated into the system.
This milestone represents years of thought, experimentation, refinement, and real-world experience behind EaseFlow®.

👩⚕️ Inspired by Personal & Clinical Experience
EaseFlow® was created by Dr. Lei Zhang, DAOM, L.Ac., a California-licensed acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine with more than 20 years of clinical experience.
The idea was influenced both by her professional experience and by her own difficult recovery after C-section, when having a bowel movement without straining became an unexpectedly painful challenge.
Over years of clinical practice, she also encountered many individuals struggling with constipation, incomplete bowel evacuation, post-surgical bowel discomfort, and difficulty with conventional approaches.
Those experiences helped shape a simple principle behind EaseFlow®:
Support the body gently rather than forcing it.
🌿 Thoughtful Innovation for Everyday Life
EaseFlow® was developed with attention to practical details that can make personal bowel care easier and more comfortable:
